Here is Paul's new 400 stroker motor, built by Todd at Marsh Performance.
While it looks like a standard fair 383 with an intake and some fancy Mopar valve covers, this little monster now packs 499 cubic inches and made 563hp and over 650 ft lbs of torque. In fact, this little stump puller made over 600 ft lbs from 3K rpm to 5K rpm.
A nice little street motor, pump gas and steel 906 heads. Think about that the next time you think iron heads are junk. These had been fully race ported and where bought for under $1000 from a bracket racer who was upgrading to AL heads.
Marsh does all our engine work and they can build one of these for you for right around $8K.
