Can you imagine this sleeper dropped into a 67 Dart. Stock valve covers and paint the intake as well. Put a 383 pin pan on the aircleaner - or better yet, claim its an old 361 (hehe)
Hmmm .... I just happen to have a 67 Dart and the guys in the shop blew up the slant six. Its sitting and waiting for a new motor., Maybe I can get Todd to screw one of these beasts together for me.
A quick check of the race calculator from the www.Moparts.com tech archive says with 563hp (figure 460 rear wheel hp) in a 3400 lb dart means about 120mph in the quarter mile - thats a low 11 second street ride (if you can get enough traction to launch it!)
With 3:91 gears this combination would go through the 1/4 mile traps at 6000 rpm and cruise at 60mph on the freeway at 3000 rpm. Not a bad street car!
