A view from the rear. The quarter panel has been removed at the factory spot welds with the exception of the top seam. We choose this location to minimize the ability to see a seam from inside the trunk.

The replacement quarter skin will be butt welded just below the factory bend line and the repair will be almost invisible from inside the trunk, normally a dead giveaway that a quarter has been replaced.

Also notice the old trunk floor extension is removed in this photo. It will be replaced with a new extension soon!
