Mark's 1970 340 Dart. A very original car without the drivetrain. Mark purchased the car in its current state and asked Us Car Tool to perform some restoration magic.
An original 340 Dart in Go-Mango (EK2) with a black tail stripe, the car was disassembled and media blasted by a prior owner. When he decided to hand off the restoration due to a lack of time, Mark stepped in and asked us to handle the "make it pretty" side of the project.
Plans include a complete makeover paint job in the original Go-Mango shade complete with the Black tailstripe and blackout hood treatment. Should look very mean with the original dual scoop fresh air hood. The suspension will get the full-tilt powdercoat treatment while Mark finishes the new (and rather stout) 340 that will soon find its way under the hood.
Expect this one to be at our booth next year at Carlisle and the Nats ..... if we can convince Mark to keep it stranding still that long !
