NEW DISCOVERY!!
A previous owner saw Mark's Dart on the website and sent these pictures of the Dart before it was media Blasted. Turns out, he is also the owner of the Media Blasting company that did the work. The Dart was his first media blasted car and was used to show off his work.
That explains why there where square patches of original orangepaint left on the panels - he was showing the original paint and the after effects of the media blasting.
