Here we have fitted the replacement wheelhouse into position. It is just clamped in at this point. Although the replacement parts are much easier to wortk wiuth than starting from scratch, they are still in need of much "massaging" to make them fit correctly.
After the trial fitting, we have determined that this wheelhouse will need to be sectioned in the front and about 1/4" of material removed so the leading edge of the wheel opening will fit correctly on the replacement quarter skin. Sigh - sure wish we could work with NOS replacement sheetmetal !
