So we trimmed away a bit more of the original quarter to allow access to the inner rocker sill, removed the rusted metal and treated the inside with POR-15 to stop any future rust formation.
After allowing that to dry well, we fabricated a patch panel which was welded over the inner rocker. Strong and now rust free, we are ready too coat the inside with undercoating.
