Whenever we open up a frame rail (like removing the old trunk floor to replace it) we take the opportunity to coat the inside of the frame rails. This helps to seal the inner frame rail against future rust issues.
Here you can see we have taped off the horizontal surface where the new trunk floor will get welded on and we have applied POR-15 to the insides of the frame rails.
You can also see the new inner brace replacements we made for the finish panel to trunk floor. These where completely rusted away on the Bee!
