The replacement inner fender panels you get today are somewhat generic, Gil wanted his to look like 1970 originals, so we are removing the extra "features" that are found on the replacement panels.
In this picture the panel is just layed in position and you can see that we have removed the bump in the area over the battery tray. There are also marks on several holes that are to be filled in (with weld).
BTW - that is Gil's numbers matching big block on the K-frame stand in the background.
