Another view of the mockup. Pretty close now to making the new inner frame supports and welding the new support into position.
As with any frame repairs, we will be installing inner braces to make sure the new seam is super strong. In this case, the inner brace will also serve as the captive nut for the bumper bracket bolt locations. The original had been pulled out long ago, so this is the perfect time to repair that area along with strengthening the repair seam.
