Here are the time slips from Mooresville. The secound run started much better than the first, but I forgot how to shift into 3rd gear (hey - its been a while !) and ran the motor up into the rev limiter before remembering that I have to hit the lever to shift into 3rd.
This would probably have been a 7.30's pass if I hadn't messed up the shift. You can see how the ET was faster than the first, but the mph was off by a full 1 mph.
The really scary part was we had a 7000 rpm chip in the rev limiter! That's spinning for a big block mopar. I am nervous, but my engine builder keeps telling me about the hand massaged, shot peened, deburred, ground and magnafluxed rods and the light tool steel wrist pins, ARP bolts etc. What he means is "Don't be such a wuss and drive it like you stole it".
