Update April 13, 2004 - Another 3 days after that ... now stripped of most of the exterior paint.

The original plan was for media blasting, but Brian decided to mechanically strip the car and use a very low pressure sand blast for the little crevices. The factory paint was on very hard and the media was taking forever to remove the factory paint/primer.

Although sand blasting has a reputation for warping sheet metal panels, it can be used safely on areas where there is more strength, like pinch weld areas and jambs. Use caution and go easy so you do not heat the metal much.
