May 20 2004 - This is the pinchweld at the bottom of the firewall / transition to the transmission tunnel. We folded it over flat to make room fgor the new CSI aluminum transmission shiled that will be going in when the drivetrain is re-installed.

Whenever a car is being restored, we try to think about how the car will be used and make smart decisions about body (metal) before applying the paint. If we had neglkected to asjked about drivetrain upgrades (and the trans shield) we would have had to make this mod during assembly on the new paint job - not a good thing!
